George Wommack, CEO of Headwall Investments, has been eyeing a Terrell Heights shopping center ever since he moved to San Antonio 18 years ago.
Ahead of Christmas, Wommack got the ultimate gift. The local real estate firm closed on the multimillion-dollar acquisition of Sunset Ridge Shopping Center on Dec. 23. It was the first time the unanchored retail center at 6310-6488 N. New Braunfels Ave. has changed hands since 2003.
“Sunset Ridge is one of the premier unanchored shopping centers in San Antonio,” Wommack said. “It’s in an excellent location with excellent visibility, high/median household income and high population density. It checks every box that we would ever want in this type of asset.”…
