After months of inactivity, the storefront at 717 N. Alamo St. in downtown San Antonio shows signs of reopening. New activity inside and recent state filings suggest Bar 717 may soon open, with landlords and locals noting that work is back on schedule.

MySA reports that a Thursday filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) outlines a remodeling project for the roughly 4,000-square-foot space. Work is scheduled to start January 31 and finish by April 30, with an estimated budget of $100,000. A recent site visit found the interior still under construction, and TDLR details may change.
