Young San Antonio actress gets big break with ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’

An 11-year-old San Antonio actress is getting her big break in Hollywood.

Miriam Spumpkin stars in “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2,” playing the main character Vanessa as a kid. Despite Spumpkin securing the role, she wasn’t a fan of the scary ”Five Nights at Freddy’s” video game series that spawned the movie franchise.

“I barely even heard of Five Nights at Freddy’s,” Spumpkin told the San Antonio Current. “My brothers knew more about it than I did and were the ones that really pushed me to audition. They told me (the game) was really big.”…
