Smoke Skybar representatives say the business is open and “moving ahead” despite a November bankruptcy filing and nearly $2.7 million in mounting debt.
Court records and documents obtained by the San Antonio Express-News confirm that owner and operator Adrian Martinez filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in the Western District of Texas in late November.
Martinez listed “Smoke BBQ +Skybar 78202 LLC” as the debtor on the Official Form 201, which states that he’s racked up approximately $2,667,812.25 in debt.
Despite this, Smoke Skybar representatives posted a Tuesday update to social media stating that the business was not only still running, but “moving ahead” with excitement for the future…
