Prospective pet owners can visit PetSmart at 8520 Fourwinds Drive on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to meet various pets ready for a new home. The event is part of SAACS’s initiatives to increase adoption rates and engage the community in the welfare of animals.
Highlighted among the dogs looking for homes is Sandy. She is described as a “pretty girl with golden eyes” who was once abandoned but is now flourishing in foster care. According to a recent release, she enjoys outings at the park and playing with children. Tank, a gentle soul likened to an ‘Oreo’ due to his black-and-white fur, has healed from past injuries in foster care and is looking for a new start. Rosey, formerly a young mother, has bid farewell to her puppies as they found their homes, and she now seeks a family and a backyard for sunbathing and energetic play.
The $0 adoption event also extends to SAACS’s own location at 4710 State Highway 151 on both Saturday and Sunday.
