New apartment community opens in San Antonio with affordable homes and support for unhoused neighbors

SAN ANTONIO — City leaders and housing advocates celebrated the opening of Four25 San Pedro Apartments this week, bringing 80 new affordable homes to the city and added support for families transitioning out of homelessness.

The development, supported by the city’s 2017–2022 Neighborhood Improvements Bond, was built through a partnership with Franklin Development, the San Antonio Housing Trust and SAMMinistries. Of the 80 units, 25 are designated as permanent supportive housing, offering long-term stability along with on-site services to help residents remain housed.
