San Antonio Animal Care Services is urging the public to help place at least 100 dogs into foster homes, even for a short time, ahead of this weekend.
With the cold weather threatening to drive more animals into the city shelter, Animal Care Services is hosting foster matchmaking events from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday at its facility at 4710 State Highway 151.
