Suzanne Simpson murder case takes new turn as trial is paused

New accusations and details are emerging in the prolonged murder case against Brad Simpson, the Olmos Park father and husband accused of killing his wife Suzanne Simpson and hiding her body. His defense attorney is calling into question some of the lead investigators likely expected to testify, accusing them of moral and professional missteps, even in this very case.

The murder case against Brad Simpson has been an uphill battle. His wife’s body has never been found (despite massive digs through multiple trash heaps and properties), prosecutors have delayed progress citing mountains of evidence to wade through and Simpson’s attorney even tried to argue a murder case couldn’t move forward without a body as proof of homicide.

Now, Simpson’s defense attorney, Steven Gilmore, is calling into question whether some of the investigators involved in the case are fit to testify in the trial.
