The roads across San Antonio are slick this morning, Sunday, January 25. Road closures, crashes and power outages are already popping up across the greater metro area as the arctic and icy storm moves out of South-Central Texas. A crash on Interstate 10 reported before 4 a.m. is still causing headaches for those braving the roadways today.
Reports from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) show that a major crash on I-10 between Boerne Stage Road (exit 551) and Ralph Fair Road (exit 550) was reported at 3:26 a.m but is still causing traffic woes as all lanes are closed due to the crash. TxDOT reports that all westbound lanes of I-10 at Boerne Stage Road are still closed, including the shoulders and exits.
Cameras show lanes of I-10 West are still closed at the time of publishing. The crash was given a high-severity label, and TxDOT reports that drivers can expect delays up to 20 minutes…
