SAN ANTONIO — At least five students and a bus driver were taken to the hospital after a school bus crash caused major traffic delays Tuesday morning on San Antonio’s southwest side, authorities said.
The crash happened around 8:15 a.m. along Loop 410 South near FM 2536, also known as Old Pearsall Road, after a Southwest Independent School District bus overturned on the access road.
According to SWISD, 33 students from Southwest Legacy High School were on board at the time of the crash. District officials said none of the students were seriously injured.
