SAN ANTONIO — Five students and a school bus driver were hospitalized Tuesday morning after a Southwest Legacy High School bus overturned on Loop 410 while transporting students to school.
The crash happened around 8:15 a.m. as the bus was taking an entrance ramp onto Loop 410 South, according to police. Authorities said the 63-year-old driver claimed she could not see clearly when she veered off the road and drove into the concrete embankment, causing the bus to overturn. No other vehicles were involved, and investigators said road conditions were not icy at the time of the crash.
