Woman sentenced in Sonic manager’s 2024 shooting death over money dispute

SAN ANTONIO — A woman convicted for the murder of a sonic manager is being sentenced today in court.

Adiah Roberson’s sentencing comes after she accepted a plea deal in the death of 33-year old Daniel Shrewsbury.

Shrewsbury was shot and killed in July 2024 during an argument at the sonic restaurant he managed near the medical center. Investigators said Roberson and Shrewsbury got into an argument over counterfeit money…
