Motorcyclist in life-threatening condition after hitting two Big Sandy’s

SAN ANTONIO – A speeding motorcyclist is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after cutting four lanes of traffic on the highway and hitting two “Big Sandy’s.”

The crash happened on Friday, around 2 p.m., near I-35 and Weidner Road.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, the motorcyclist was speeding on I-35 when he cut four lanes of traffic, weaving between cars. He then hit two “Big Sandy’s,” or impact attenuator sand barrels, before being ejected from his motorcycle…
