Popular San Antonio Korean BBQ joint locked out over unpaid rent

Korean barbecue restaurants might be one of San Antonio’s hottest dining trends, but one all-you-can-eat newcomer hasn’t been so lucky. Ooh La La Korean BBQ has been locked out of its 842 NW Loop 410 #107 storefront for alleged unpaid rent.

According to the January 22 lockout notice sign posted on the business’ door, Ooh La La owes $72, 417.33 in back payments to property manager DPEG North Park, LP. The restaurant has been operating at the Plaza Del Norte shopping center for less than two years.

Ooh La La officially debuted in October 2024, serving all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue at a relatively affordable price. It quickly became popular for its $21.99 weekday lunch special, which offered a selection of 15 proteins and a side of soup…
