Government shutdown felt at major Air Force command in San Antonio

The federal government shutdown is affecting a major Air Force organization, the San Antonio-based Air Education and Training Command.

The AETC’s 13,465-strong civilian workforce in Texas and eight other states was idled while members of Congress continued to wrangle over a potential budget deal.
