Given how active San Antonio’s weather has been in the past 10 days, the forecast for the next few days might be notable for what it’s missing: No freezing temperatures and not much of a chance for any rainfall this week.
Instead, Tuesday in San Antonio is shaping up to be cloudy in the morning but turning mostly sunny by the afternoon, when daytime temperatures are expected to hit 70 degrees. That would be at least a few degrees above normal for the first week of February, according to the National Weather Service.
However, the warm south-southwest winds from Mexico will shift to cooler, northerly breezes as a relatively weak cold front is set to move through Texas by Tuesday afternoon. After sunset, stout north winds of 5 to 10 mph could include gusts as strong as 20 mph. Clouds increase, but overnight temperatures could bottom out around 47 degrees before dawn Wednesday.
