The Boerne Police Department is warning residents about an online luxury car scam that had already defrauded locals out of $40,000 recently.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, January 31, police said they have received numerous reports from people who have fallen victim to the scam.
According to police, a company calling itself “Always Boerne” is falsely advertising “high-end luxury vehicles” and soliciting money through online payments from would-be buyers.
