Borrowed suitcase lands San Antonio native and military spouse in Panama jail

SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio mother of three is under house arrest in Panama after authorities say a loaded gun was found in her suitcase at an airport. She says she had no idea it was there.

What was supposed to be a short vacation quickly unraveled when Sabrina Underwood arrived in Panama and went through baggage screening.

“When I arrived and went through, they scanned the baggage, and they found a loaded weapon in my baggage,” Underwood said. “I thought they just pulled me aside to check my medication, and I ended up with the biggest surprise of my life.”…
