A sheriff’s deputy shot and critically wounded a man early Sunday in the parking lot of a Comfort motel after the man fired at the officer, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office said.
The man was taken by helicopter to a San Antonio hospital in critical condition, the office said in a Sunday afternoon Facebook post. The post did not provide the man’s identity or the nature of his injuries or current condition.
