16-year-old girl reported missing in Bexar County, sheriff’s office says

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Authorities are searching for 16-year-old Klarissa Zapata, who went missing from her residence on February 15, 2026.

Klarissa, described as a Hispanic female, stands 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds, with brown eyes and hair. She was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, light blue jeans, and carrying a black purse in the 2600 block of Skybound, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. Surveillance footage captured her leaving on foot at approximately 6:40 a.m. that day.

Although Klarissa’s cell phone remains active, it is not receiving incoming calls. Her guardians have indicated that she does not use social media platforms.
