San Antonio police are hunting for a gun-toting robber who threatened a Dollar Tree employee on Marbach Road then took off on a bicycle, and Crime Stoppers is putting up to $5,000 on the line for the tip that brings him in.
The holdup went down around 3:45 p.m. on Jan. 1 in the 7000 block of Marbach Road. Investigators say a man grabbed merchandise, pulled a handgun, threatened the worker’s life and then pedaled away from the scene, according to KENS5. Police have not publicly identified a suspect.
Crime Stoppers Offers Cash For Tips
Crime Stoppers of San Antonio is offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the case. To qualify for the reward, tips must go directly and anonymously to Crime Stoppers, either by calling 210-224-STOP (7867), using the P3 Tips app or submitting online, Crime Stoppers of San Antonio notes.
Detectives Want Video And Witnesses
SAPD’s Robbery Task Force is handling the investigation and has not announced any arrests. Detectives are asking anyone who was in the area, or who might have store surveillance or cellphone video around the time of the robbery, to reach out to investigators.
