A San Antonio mother says she feels “beyond blessed” after she, her husband, their six children and two dogs escaped a house fire on the city’s east side Saturday morning.

The fire broke out at the family’s home on Gibbs Street near Walters Street. Video captured by a neighbor shows flames engulfing the house as smoke billowed into the air.
