San Antonio high school evacuated, classes canceled after bomb threat

Steele High School has been evacuated and the rest of the day canceled after a voicemail regarding a bomb threat.

As of Wednesday morning, the school has closed to allow law enforcement to do a thorough sweep of the building, according to a letter sent out to family members from Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District.

Students and staff who were on campus were safely removed, and those riding the bus to get to school were taken to Samuel Clemens High School to be picked up instead…
