San Antonio will soon be down another ramen shop after Hero’s Ramen x Sushi hosts its final day of service this week, the restaurant announced to the surprise of its customers.
The izakaya-style restaurant shared the news on its Instagram and Facebook pages on Wednesday, March 4, stating it will permanently close on Thursday, March 5. Soon after the post went live, an outpouring of customers responded to the closure, with several people mentioning the restaurant’s authenticity and, of course, its ramen.
“OMG this was literally my favorite restaurant for the last few years. You guys had the best most authentic and savory ramen in town. I’m genuinely so upset to see you guys go,” one Instagram user wrote in a comment.
MySA made multiple attempts to call Hero’s Ramen x Sushi to ask for additional comment, but the business did not answer. We also sent a direct message to the business on Facebook, and we received a response confirming that the restaurant is in fact closing.
