San Antonio Man Sentenced to 70 Years for Bus Stop Stabbing Murder

San Antonio, TX — A San Antonio man has been sentenced to 70 years in prison after a Bexar County jury found him guilty of murder and tampering with evidence in a fatal stabbing case.

Carl Mott was sentenced on March 6, 2026, by Judge Ron Rangel of the 379th District Court. A jury convicted Mott on January 30 following a trial in Bexar County.
