Southside Dunkin Opening Lures Early Birds With ‘Year’ of Free Coffee

San Antonio’s Southside is getting a fresh jolt of caffeine on Saturday, and the first 50 people in line at the new Dunkin’ could snag what the chain is billing as “a year” of free coffee. The grand-opening party runs from noon to 2 p.m. and is set to feature a ribbon cutting, a prize wheel and an appearance by Dunkin’s mascot, Cuppy. The new outpost pairs Dunkin’ with Baskin-Robbins and will operate with a drive-thru and mobile pickup for app orders.

According to MySanAntonio, the first 50 customers in line will receive a promotional code for the prize. The fine print limits the offer to medium hot or iced coffee and requires that the code be redeemed within 100 days of the grand opening. MySanAntonio also notes that the ribbon-cutting ceremony is expected to happen around 1 p.m. during the event.

What the New Shop Offers

Per Dunkin’s location page, the Presa Court spot is listed as Unit 105 and highlights a drive-thru, on-the-go mobile ordering and an on-site Baskin-Robbins, effectively creating a combined quick-service hub. The chain’s listing also includes contact information and online ordering links for the new store.

How the Giveaway Will Be Handed Out

The chain’s release, as shared with MySanAntonio, explains that winners will be given a promo code that applies only to medium hot or iced coffees and carries additional limits, language that makes clear the “year” label is a promotional hook rather than an unlimited perk. Those codes will go to the first 50 customers in line during the noon-to-2 p.m. celebration.

How the Location Came Together

State project records show the site was permitted as “Dunkin Presa Court,” with a tenant build-out listed as completed in 2025 and Andy Ali named as the tenant contact. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing estimates the interior renovation at roughly $400,000 for a space of about 2,133 square feet…
