A late-night burst of gunfire on San Antonio’s Southwest Side left a 14-year-old boy in the hospital and a neighborhood on edge, authorities said.
San Antonio police officers were called out around 11:51 p.m. Saturday to the 3200 block of McArthur Avenue, where they found the teen with a gunshot wound to a lower extremity. He was taken to a local hospital, and his injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
Police Say Teen Not Talking, No Suspect Info Yet
According to KENS 5, the San Antonio Police Department said the victim did not tell officers how the shooting happened. Investigators have not released any suspect description or details about a possible motive.
SAPD told KENS 5 the case remains an active investigation as detectives process the scene and work their way through available leads.
