A San Antonio TV meteorologist charged with assault is no longer with the station, MySA has confirmed.
On Friday, March 13, former KSAT 12 meteorologist Elliot Wilson was charged with a Class A misdemeanor assault causing bodily injury to a family member, according to court records. While KSAT previously reported that Wilson would be off-air while the case is under investigation, a spokesperson for the station told MySA on Monday, March 16, that he “is no longer an employee of KSAT.”
Wilson’s name no longer appears on the station’s “Meet the KSAT 12 Team” page on its website, and an updated news story published by KSAT regarding the arrest now refers to him as a “former KSAT meteorologist.” Updated Saturday, March 14, the story now contains a line noting that Wilson is no longer employed at the station alongside a link to resources for victims of domestic abuse…
