According to News 4 San Antonio, the shooting was reported around 9:20 p.m. near Montview and Arroya Vista Drive. The department told the outlet the 15-year-old had a gunshot wound to the chest but was alert and talking with officers at the scene. Police did not immediately provide any description of a possible suspect.
