Calls for change to make San Antonio streets safer after deadly street racing crash

SAN ANTONIO – There are calls for change to make San Antonio’s streets safer after Tuesday night’s street racing crash that killed a 12-year-old boy.

The boy was a passenger in one of the cars that was racing down a busy stretch of Culebra Road on the West Side near Alazan Creek. The boy killed was riding in a white Sedan with a 20-year-old driver who was racing a pickup truck, lost control, and slammed into a third car.
