SAN ANTONIO — A 22-year-old woman was arrested on an animal cruelty charge after deputies found a severely underweight dog living on an apartment balcony, authorities said.
On Wednesday, Bexar County deputies responded to the 5500 block of Mansion Bluff after receiving a report of a dog left outside on a balcony. Upon arrival, they spoke with the dog’s owner, Giovanni Leija, who said she had owned the dog for about five years.
