A woman was hit and killed by a vehicle Monday when she fell onto a crosswalk just west of downtown, the San Antonio Police Department said.
The deadly crash happened around 4:30 p.m. near the University of Texas at San Antonio’s downtown campus, according to a preliminary police report.
The woman, 53, was crossing N. Frio Street as a driver turned left from Houston Street. She fell into the crosswalk, and the driver was not able to stop in time, police said. The driver, 21, hit the woman with his vehicle…
