When Mr. R stepped outside that day, he suddenly stopped in his tracks. Right there on his porch pillar sat a creature that looked like it belonged in a wildlife documentary, not in his own backyard.
For a second, it didn’t even feel real.
The animal’s wide, frightened eyes were locked on him, completely still, as if unsure what to do next. And in that moment, Mr. R didn’t know what to feel: fear, curiosity, or pure amazement at the unexpected visitor right in front of him.
