A San Antonio child actor made her big screen debut this month – alongside movie star Kevin Bacon.
Emery Kaler plays Young Ula, the daughter of a movie director played by Bacon in “Family Movie,” which was released on March 13. The horror film’s premise: Jack Smith, played by Bacon, is directing a low-budget movie starring members of his own family. Everything changes when they find a dead body on set and have to cover up a murder to keep on filming.
Kaler, 9, is from San Antonio and now lives in Boerne, according to an interview with MySA. While Kaler has just a few lines in the movie, she described Bacon, the “Footloose” and “Apollo 13” star, as “really nice and sweet.”…
