Axel Oliva, who co-founded the Michelin-recognized San Antonio restaurant Leche de Tigre Cebicheria Peruana, has died, according to posts on the restaurant’s social media pages. He was 31.
Oliva started the Southtown-area restaurant in 2023, along with his brothers Emil Oliva and Alec Oliva.
“It’s with heavy hearts we share that our brother Axel Oliva tragically passed away yesterday,” the restaurant posted to its social media accounts late Monday. “We are taking time as a family and team to grieve. Leche de Tigre will be closed Tuesday through Thursday. We kindly ask for privacy as we process this loss.”…
