Man sentenced to at least 25 years after skipping trial

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A man is heading back to jail after entering an open guilty plea after he failed to show up for his jury trial.

Paul Martinez was released from custody in January of last year on a pending felony charge on the condition that he appear in court.
