A man was found dead Sunday on a normally quiet stretch of San Antonio’s northwest side, in what police say appears to be a self-inflicted shooting.
San Antonio police officers were dispatched Sunday morning to the 7600 block of Autumn Park near Prue Road, where they discovered the unidentified man with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the department told KENS5. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives with the San Antonio Police Department said the case remains under investigation. Officers did not immediately release the man’s name as they worked to confirm his identity and notify any next of kin.
