Bexar County will use eminent domain to buy a Northwest Side office building to house several county government offices.
County commissioners approved purchasing the building, located at Fredericksburg Road and Loop 410, for $7 million at their meeting Tuesday.
The five-story building will house the constable, justice of the peace and tax assessor-collector offices for the county’s Precinct 2, which covers western Bexar County, from the edge of downtown all the way out to Leon Valley.
