It’s been three years since the first location of Bojangles planted roots in San Antonio, causing a frenzy amongst locals trying to visit the restaurant on opening day. Soon, a second San Antonio location of the chicken chain will debut on the city’s Southwest Side.
The new Bojangles, located at 3003 SW Military Drive near Somerset Road, will open to the public at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, according to a news release sent to MySA. On opening day, the first 25 customers who enter the business will be handed a $25 Bojangles gift card and a bag of free swag. Additionally, 10 customers may win a chance to have free Bojangles for a year.
The restaurant will also host a private friends-and-family preview for first responders from noon to 3 p.m. on Monday, April 20, inviting local police officers, firefighters, EMTs and medics to visit the new Bojangles.
“This opening is about more than just great Bojangles chicken and biscuits — it’s a celebration of the first responders who serve and protect the community day in and day out,” said Terrence Thames, the president of operations at the new Bojangles. “We’re excited to introduce our Southern hospitality and famous flavors to this growing community.”…
