An H-E-B warehouse worker died days after a workplace injury, just one day before his 28th birthday, according to his mother, who is now speaking out about the incident and what she describes as unanswered questions surrounding his death.
Flores’ mother, Brenda Flores, told the San Antonio Express-News and shared a statement describing her son, Austin Lewis Flores, as a hardworking employee who was injured April 4 at an H-E-B distribution facility at 4710 N. Pan Am Expressway on the Northeast Side.
