The company told the Texas Workforce Commission on April 23 that it planned to close the Currency Drive plant, starting the official countdown to the June 30 shutdown, according to the San Antonio Report. That filing lists which jobs are being eliminated and triggers the standard process for rapid reemployment services in the region.
