A San Antonio Park Police officer is facing criminal charges after Bexar County Sheriff’s Office deputies say he assaulted a woman during an argument — an arrest that makes him the fourth San Antonio Police Department officer taken into custody in 2026.
Rolando Lopez Jr., 36, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of assault causing bodily injury on a family member, according to Bexar County records. He has been employed by San Antonio Park Police for eight years.
