A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of South and Central Texas, including much of the Texas Hill Country, the National Weather Service announced Wednesday morning. The watch will stay in effect until 1 p.m.
Many cities in the Hill Country and along the Edwards Plateau are included in the watch, including Junction, Rocksprings, Castell, Fredericksburg, Llano, Kerrville, Medina, Boerne, Marble Falls, Kingsland, Lampasas and Killeen.
Several cities along the Interstate 35 corridor are also a part of the severe thunderstorm watch, including New Braunfels, San Marcos, Austin, Round Rock, and Georgetown…
