SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A vegetation fire broke out near Escondido Sunday, prompting air and ground response from fire crews.
According to Cal Fire, the blaze, coined the Cougar Fire, started near Cougar Pass Road and was about 10 acres in size at around 4:40 p.m., with no threats to structures.
