SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A brush fire that sparked near a shopping center Monday afternoon shut down part of SR-54 as crews worked to get the blaze under control.
Around 4 p.m., all lanes of the highway from Highland Avenue to the I-5 were closed. Access to the SR-54 from the I-5 was also blocked, Cal Trans District 11 said.
