Emerald Hills development flagged by concerned residents

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Dozens of San Diego residents packed City Council on Tuesday to voice their concerns for the Emerald Hills Radio Towers Development, which proposes to build more than 120 homes on Old Memory Lane.

Some residents oppose the development, saying the developer, DH Horton’s vision, doesn’t complement the neighborhood and will create safety issues.

“That is why we are here today to protect what matters and to show city leaders will not accept thoughtless leaders,” said one community leader during a rally before the City Council meeting…
