Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, an ambassador for plant-based fast-food chain Mr. Charlie’s, will make a special appearance at the grand opening of the brand’s second San Diego location on Saturday afternoon. The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a mayoral proclamation declaring July 11 as “Mr. Charlie’s Day,” free burgers, and complimentary Mr. Charlie’s tattoos for guests.
Laugh at comedian Marlon Wayans’ Wild Child Tour show
Comedian and actor Marlon Wayans, best-known for his roles in “Scary Movie” and “White Chicks,” is bringing his Wild Child Tour to San Diego’s Mic Drop Comedy all weekend long. Some of his latest comedy specials include Amazon Prime Video’s “Good Grief,” “Woke-ish” on Netflix, and “You Know What It Is” on HBO Max. Though the Friday and Saturday shows are completely sold out, a limited number of tickets remain available for the Sunday slot (as of Friday morning).
