A high pressure system will slowly build in from the east this week, bringing gradual warming, a shallower marine layer and dry weather to San Diego County, the National Weather Service said Sunday.
The slow warming trend began Sunday with high temperatures near to slightly below normal, the NWS said.
For the rest of the week, forecasters predict highs in mid-to-upper 70s along the coast, mid-80s for the western valleys, low-to-mid 90s for the inland valleys, upper 70s to mid-80s in the mountains, and 105-108 degrees in the deserts…
