SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The Cat Café located at the San Diego Humane Society campus was shut down by the county for a third time on Friday.
According to county records, the location on Gaines Street was shut down for an out of compliance permit. However, the café was also shut down back in June for multiple violations, which ironically included a major vermin problem.
It also was forced to close in 2023 for major sewage disposal issues, which means that there were major violations of overflow or back-ups of sewage or wastewater at the facility…
