SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Drivers should expect overnight freeway closures Sunday into Monday as Caltrans crews conduct paving work on northbound Interstate 5 and Interstate 805 in San Diego.

According to Caltrans, all northbound I-5 lanes and three outside northbound I-805 lanes will close from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 23 and Monday, Aug. 24.
The closures are part of the I-5 Asset Management Project.
On northbound I-805, the three outside lanes (lanes six, seven and eight) will be closed. The I=5 Local Bypass will remain open for northbound I-5 traffic during the work…
